Titanium is known for having a very high strength-to-weight ratio. It's often used in jewelry making due to it's strength, lightness, and non-reactivity. Most people who have adverse reactions to other metallic jewelry usually have no problem with titanium pieces. When anodised, the resulting surface layer of oxide causes the metal to take on a scintillation variety of colours.
The small granules of this product allow for ease of feeding into a furnace and control over the amount used.
